Meet Junior Arends
Piano educator, performer, author
and founder of Jr Arends Piano Studio
Junior Arends is the founder of Jr Arends Piano Studio, serving Aruba’s music community since 2013. Through individualized piano instruction, he helps children and adults build strong musical foundations, confidence and lasting enjoyment at the piano.
What began as a small teaching practice has grown into a full-capacity studio, a keyboard rental service for Aruba’s visitors and an expanding educational publishing brand reaching learners locally and internationally.

I recently rented a piano from Jr. Arends Piano Studio while on vacation and it was wonderful. Mr. Arends was highly professional, kind and responsive. The rental process was a breeze and he provided me with an excellent quality piano that enabled me to keep up with my practicing. I strongly recommend.

I had an excellent experience renting a piano from Arends during my recent 2-week vacation in Aruba. Junior was super responsive coordinating and with the delivery/pickup (at my hotel) of the piano. Great service, highly recommend!

The book is very user friendly. It’s easy tomread and understand. Giving you insight to basic piano hand and playing position. It’s colorful and fun. A must have for every new beginner.
As the saying goes: Even an old dog can learn and play new tricks. The book provides essential basic training for hand position and play position. As a seasonal piano player, I had to unlearn old bad habits and start playing the right way as it supposed to be. Can't wait for a second book.
